Spiritual reflections, deep contemplation, and theological inquiry.

  • What if the issue was never trousers…but how people chose to interpret the Bible?”

    They said:
“A woman should not wear what belongs to a man.”

    And somewhere along the line…
    cloth became the focus.

But was it ever about fabric?

    In ancient times,
clothing marked identity, role, and intent.
It wasn’t just what you wore—
    it was what you represented.

So maybe the warning was never about trousers…

    Maybe it was about confusion.
    About deception.
    About crossing lines of identity
    for the wrong reasons.

    Because cultures change.
    Styles evolve.
What was once “male” is now simply… clothing.

    But integrity?
    Clarity?
    Purpose?

    Those never change.

    So the question isn’t:
“Is this male or female clothing?”

    The real question is:

    “What does this choice represent?”

    “The Silence Many Carry”

“If you do not eat my flesh and drink my blood, you have no life in you…” — Gospel of John

There are words of Christ that comfort, and there are words that disturb—this is one of them. Because I cannot ignore the question: how does a well-behaved, mentally and emotionally sound person accept this at face value? Some of us do not even eat cow meat, yet we are told to eat flesh and drink blood. It is not just difficult—it is deeply unsettling.

And so, I understand, at least in part, why some who first heard Him struggled—not because they lacked faith, but because they were human.

Even now, I stand as a communicant, receiving the Eucharist… yet inwardly, I die every day in confusion and silence. Not rebellion. Not rejection. Just a quiet place where faith and understanding have not fully met.

Perhaps some truths are not immediately embraced—they are wrestled with. And perhaps the real question is not, “Why did they struggle?” but: Do we truly understand… or have we simply learned to be silent?

  • Was the Serpent Truly the Villain? A Different Look at the Garden of Eden

    Not Just Fruit… But Knowledge?

“The fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, as in Genesis? Or… a kind of canon knowledge? Let’s rethink and ponder.”

We’ve always been told it was fruit.

    Something physical. Something simple.

But what if the story was never about what was eaten

    but what was accessed?

    Not just a bite—

    but a crossing.

    From innocence into awareness.

    From obedience into self-definition.

From “being guided” into “knowing for oneself.”

Because the moment they ate, everything changed—not outside, but within.

    Their eyes opened.

    Their perception shifted.

    Their understanding deepened… and complicated.

So was it truly fruit from a tree?

Or was it humanity’s first encounter with a knowledge too heavy to carry without consequence?

    Not sweetness on the tongue—

    but the weight of knowing.

And once known… it could never be unknown.

    So what really happened?

Maybe it wasn’t about the fruit…

Maybe it was about the experience.

    They didn’t just eat.

    They chose.

    They tasted:

    – Curiosity over caution

    – Desire over instruction

    – The pull of “what if” over “what is”

And in that moment… their eyes were opened.

Not to sweetness on the tongue—

    but to something far deeper:

    Awareness.

    Power.

    Consequences.

    So was it an apple?

Or was it the first taste of something more dangerous than sweetness…

    The irresistible pull of knowing?

    The seductive taste of choice.

The dangerous sweetness of becoming aware.

And once tasted… it could never be untasted.
