Imagine being taken beyond the world you know.
Beyond the sky.
Beyond the stars.
Into Heaven itself.
Now imagine being forbidden from telling anyone what you saw.
That’s the mystery surrounding the Apostle Paul.
📖 In 2 Corinthians 12, Paul describes being “caught up to the third heaven”—a realm often associated with God’s presence.
What makes the story unsettling is what comes next.
Paul says he heard things that were inexpressible—things he was not permitted to repeat.
No details.
No descriptions.
No heavenly map.
Just silence.
Why?
What could be so extraordinary that one of Christianity’s greatest apostles was forbidden to reveal it?
Was it a glimpse of paradise?
A vision of God’s throne?
Secrets about the future?
The Bible doesn’t say.
And perhaps that’s the point.
For all the mysteries Scripture reveals, some doors remain only slightly open—enough to remind us that there are realities beyond human understanding.
🤔 If Paul saw things he could not describe, what do you think they were?
And why do you think God chose to keep those details hidden?
