One of the Bible’s most puzzling questions appears in the Garden of Eden.
📖 Genesis 3:9
“But the LORD God called to the man, ‘Where are you?’ “
If God is all-knowing…
Why did He ask Adam where he was?
Did God genuinely not know Adam’s location?
Or was the question never about Adam’s physical location at all?
If it wasn’t, then what exactly was God asking?
Could this simple question reveal something deeper about humanity’s relationship with God?
For thousands of years, believers have offered different explanations.
But here’s the question:
If God already knew the answer, why ask the question?
Let’s reason together—from Scripture, not assumptions.
