    In the eastern region of Nigeria, there is a place called Eziama Obiato.

    A community made up of three villages…
    And perhaps, that is where the mystery begins.

    Deep within that land stands a palm tree unlike others.

    Not one trunk.
    Not one crown.

    But three branches rising from one body.

    Some say it reflects the unity of the three villages.
    Others believe it is older than the stories told about it.

    Climbers have marked its body—
    footsteps carved into its skin,
    as if generations have tried to understand it…
    yet left with more questions than answers.

    Was it planted?
    Did it grow this way naturally?
    Or is it a sign—left behind, waiting to be understood?

    The truth is…
    its origin remains uncertain.

    And maybe that is what gives it power.

    Some mysteries are not meant to be solved quickly.
    They are meant to be observed, respected… and remembered.

  • Tree on which no bird dares perch 😳

    There is a tree somewhere in Igbo land…

    They say it has no leaves.
    No shade.
    No life around it.

    No grass dares grow at its feet.
    No bird rests on its branches.
    Even the wind seems to pass it gently, as if unwilling to linger.

    At first, you might think—it is just a tree.
    Dry. Forgotten. Ordinary.

    But the elders say otherwise.

    They say… not everything that stands alone is empty.
    Some things are simply left alone.

    Children are warned not to go near it.
    Not because it moves…
    Not because it speaks…

    But because of what is felt in its presence.

    A silence that is too deep.
    A stillness that watches.

    Some say the ground refuses life there.
    Others say the tree itself takes more than it gives.

    And then there are those who believe…

    It is not about the tree at all.

    Maybe it is a reminder.

    That there are places in life where:
    – Growth stops
    – Voices fade
    – And something unseen quietly takes hold

    Not everything dangerous makes noise.
    Not everything empty is harmless.

    So tell me…

    We’ve always been told it was fruit.

    Something physical. Something simple.

    But what if the story was never about what was eaten…

    Not just a bite—

    but a crossing.

    From innocence into awareness.

    From obedience into self-definition.

    From “being guided” into “knowing for oneself.”

    Because the moment they ate, everything changed—not outside, but within.

    Their eyes opened.

    Their perception shifted.

    Their understanding deepened… and complicated.

    So was it truly fruit from a tree?

    Or was it humanity’s first encounter with a knowledge too heavy to carry without consequence?

    Not sweetness on the tongue—

    And once known… it could never be unknown.

    So what really happened?

    Maybe it wasn’t about the fruit…

    Maybe it was about the experience.

    They didn’t just eat.

    They chose.

    They tasted:

    – Curiosity over caution

    – Desire over instruction

    – The pull of “what if” over “what is”

    And in that moment… their eyes were opened.

    Not to sweetness on the tongue—

    but to something far deeper:

    Awareness.

    Power.

    Consequences.

    So was it an apple?

    Or was it the first taste of something more dangerous than sweetness…

    The irresistible pull of knowing?

    The seductive taste of choice.

    The dangerous sweetness of becoming aware.

    And once tasted… it could never be untasted.

    Have you ever heard a hyena laugh in the night… and wondered why?

    It sounds wild. Almost mocking.
    But what if that sound carries something deeper—something most people never stop to understand?

    Not every laugh comes from joy.
    Some come from places words can’t reach…

    There are stories hidden in the things we overlook.
    Truths wrapped in symbols.
    Pain disguised in ways the world won’t question.

  • Some Warnings Whisper… Until They Are Forced to Speak

     

    There are stories many people are afraid to say out loud.

    Stories of men seeking wealth through dark means—where the condition is not just sacrifice, but humiliation. Where a person is told that to gain riches, he must eat what should never be touched 👉 his excrement!

    There are also stories of those who swear falsely—calling on God to defend a lie—only to later face consequences so degrading that they go to feed on human dung.

    Some dismiss these stories.  

    Some laugh them off.  

    But others know they exist—and they are not ordinary.

    What kind of desperation leads a person to that point?

    What must a man ignore within himself to accept such a condition?

    The truth is this:  

    No one arrives there suddenly.

    It begins slowly.

    A compromise.  

    A quiet decision.  

    A willingness to gain at all costs.

    And then the line moves.

    What once felt impossible… becomes negotiable.

    What once was rejected… becomes accepted.

    This is why the moment in Book of Ezekiel 4:12–15 is so striking.

    God told Ezekiel to prepare his food over human dung.

    Not as a ritual.  

    Not as a path to power.  

    But as a sign.

    A message to a people who had stopped listening.

    They had ignored warnings for too long.  

    So the message was no longer spoken—it was shown.

    Something shocking.  

    Something impossible to ignore.

    Even Ezekiel himself recoiled—and God allowed a change. But the message remained:

    When people turn away long enough,  

    they can reach a place where what is unclean no longer feels unclean.

    That is the danger.

    The stories we hear today—whether about desperate wealth or false swearing—point to the same reality:

    A human heart can fall further than it ever imagined.

    Not in one step.  

    But in many small ones.

    Until dignity is traded…  

    truth is abandoned…  

    and what should never be done  

    is done without resistance.

    So this is not just about them.

    It is a warning.

    Because if a person keeps ignoring the voice that says “no”…  

    there may come a time when nothing inside them says it anymore.
